Ministry of Finance Announces Exemption for Tunisians Abroad
The Ministry of Finance informs all Tunisians residing outside Tunisia that they are not required to file a tax return in Tunisia for income generated outside the country.
Additionally, it is possible to obtain, if needed, a certificate of non-liability from the competent tax control office, based on the address indicated on the national identity card.
The Ministry emphasizes that no new tax provisions have been introduced concerning Tunisians established abroad.
The services of the General Directorate of Taxes remain at the disposal of citizens to respond to their potential requests or complaints.
