China Allocates Donation to Support Financing of Kairouan Medical City in Tunisia
During an interview with National Radio on Wednesday, September 18, the Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia announced that China had allocated a donation to support the financing of the Kairouan Medical City.
This project, now managed by the Aghlabide Company of Kairouan Medical City under the supervision of the Ministry of Equipment, has already completed the feasibility study phase and could generate up to 42,000 jobs.
The Ambassador also highlighted the cooperation between China and Tunisia, which are celebrating 60 years of diplomatic relations this year.
He emphasized the importance of a partnership based on shared benefits, while stressing that China appreciates Tunisia's support for its "One China" policy. In return, China supports Tunisia's autonomous development.
It is worth noting that President Kais Saied addressed, during a meeting with the Head of Government on the same date, the major projects planned within the framework of cooperation with China.
