Online Payment of Vehicle Circulation Tax Now Available
The General Directorate of Public Accounting and Recovery (DGCPR) informs citizens that the payment of the vehicle circulation tax (vignette) can now be made online through a dedicated official platform.
Simple 4-Step Payment Process
The online payment of the circulation tax is carried out in 4 simple steps. The user starts by identifying the vehicle by entering its information, then the system checks the tax situation and the amounts due. The user then proceeds to electronic payment by bank or postal card, before downloading the receipt serving as proof of payment.
Eligible Vehicles
This measure concerns owners of private cars, as well as professional and specialized vehicles used for the transport of goods or people (taxis, rental cars, buses, etc.) that have not yet paid the circulation tax.
Benefits of the New Digital Service
Thanks to this new digital service, users can pay the vignette remotely, without having to travel, using bank or postal cards. This initiative is part of the strategy to digitize public services, aiming to simplify administrative procedures, reduce waiting lines, and improve the citizen experience.
