41st Edition of the Tunisian Artisanal Exhibition
The 41st edition of the Tunisian Artisanal Creation Exhibition, organized by the National Office of Tunisian Handicrafts, opened its doors yesterday at the Kram Exhibition Park and will continue until June 1st, 2025.
A Gathering of Nearly 1,000 Exhibitors
This event brings together nearly 1,000 exhibitors spread across 20 spaces, covering a wide range of artisanal specialties.
Program and Inauguration
The exhibition program, inaugurated by the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Sofiane Tekaya, consists of spaces reflecting the richness and diversity of Tunisian artisanal heritage.
Diverse Exhibition Spaces
The exhibition features areas dedicated to:
- Interior and exterior decoration
- Table art
- Traditional tapestries and weaving
- Modeled pottery from Sajnane
- Spaces dedicated to artisans with disabilities
A Meeting Point for Artisans, Visitors, and Professionals
Sofiane Tekaya indicated that this exhibition is an annual meeting point that brings together artisans, visitors, professionals, designers, and students, in addition to the presence of support organizations that will provide artisans and enterprises with accompanying services that will facilitate their work, identifying the incentives and benefits provided by the State to the sector.
High Participation Rate of Young People and Women
The participation rate of young people and higher education graduates is estimated at 60%, highlighted the Minister, adding that the participation rate of women reaches 70%.
