OpenAI Officially Launches ChatGPT for Windows

OpenAI has officially launched ChatGPT for Windows, following the release of a Mac version in May. According to Business Today, this initiative aims to integrate the AI chatbot into users' daily workflow.

In a blog post, OpenAI specified that some minor features available on Mac and the web version are not yet available on Windows, but they will be in the near future.

Among the missing features on Windows are the absence of standard and advanced audio modes, as well as the inability to connect to Google Drive or OneDrive. Additionally, authentication via third-party systems like GPT Builder is not yet supported.

However, Windows users can still download files and images using the o1 model.

For those who juggle multiple applications, ChatGPT offers a keyboard shortcut (Alt + Space) that allows quick access to the application window. This feature works well on Windows 11, but may encounter issues on Windows 10, according to Ars Technica.
