Recognition of Tunisia's Efforts in Healthcare

This distinction was awarded in Geneva by the WHO Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, in recognition of the years of continuous efforts made by Tunisian health professionals, field teams, and health institutions across all regions of the country. Ooredoo Tunisia praised this major national achievement, reflecting Tunisia's historical commitment to prevention, equitable access to care, health proximity, and protection of citizens' dignity.

The meeting also allowed for an exchange on future collaboration perspectives between Ooredoo Tunisia and the Ministry of Health to support national initiatives with a high impact in the field of health and digital health. In this context, Ooredoo Tunisia announced its support for the National Cataract Surgery Initiative organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Health in partnership with the One Day One Dream (ODOD) association. This national initiative aims to restore vision to underprivileged patients suffering from cataracts and preventable blindness in several Tunisian governorates.

Ooredoo Tunisia's Commitment to Social Responsibility

Through a three-year commitment as part of its "Tounes T3ich" social program, Ooredoo Tunisia will support the National Cataract Surgery Initiative in partnership with the Ministry of Health and the One Day One Dream (ODOD) association, with the aim of strengthening access to care, contributing to the fight against preventable blindness, and giving hope and dignity back to vulnerable populations across the country.
