Ooredoo Tunisia Announces the 5th Edition of Ooredoo Night Run by Xiaomi

Ooredoo Tunisia officially announces the launch of the 5th edition of the Ooredoo Night Run by Xiaomi, scheduled to take place on March 14, 2026, on Habib Bourguiba Avenue in the heart of Tunis. Registration is now open, marking the start of a new edition of one of the most anticipated Ramadan sporting events in Tunisia.

A Tradition of Ramadan Sports

Over the past four years, the Ooredoo Night Run by Xiaomi has established itself as a true Ramadan tradition, bringing together runners, families, and sports enthusiasts in a unique nighttime atmosphere after Iftar. What began as an original concept has become an annual must-attend event for the running community, where sports, festivities, and conviviality come together in the spirit of the holy month.

A Richer Experience for the 5th Anniversary

This 5th anniversary edition promises an even richer experience, with new animations, surprises, and an enhanced event atmosphere designed to make the Night Run more dynamic and inclusive than ever. From warm-up sessions to live animations and on-site activations, the event continues to promote a healthy lifestyle while creating memorable moments for participants and spectators.

Courses for All Levels

The event offers three courses adapted to different levels:

  • 2 km for children
  • 5 km for families and amateur runners
  • 10 km for confirmed runners

As in previous editions, a category dedicated to Handisport will also be offered, reinforcing the inclusive spirit of the Ooredoo Night Run by Xiaomi and allowing athletes with specific needs to fully participate in the event.

International Opportunities

For the second consecutive year, the winners of the 5 km and 10 km races will have the opportunity to represent Tunisia at the Doha Marathon 2027, adding an international dimension to the competition and opening up new perspectives for local talents.

Comments from the CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia

Commenting on the launch, Eyas Naif Assaf, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, said: "At Ooredoo, our role goes beyond connectivity. We are committed to creating meaningful experiences that bring people together and strengthen the social fabric of our communities. Ooredoo Night Run by Xiaomi perfectly reflects this vision, promoting well-being, inclusion, and sharing during the holy month of Ramadan. Reaching the fifth edition shows how this initiative has become a true national rendezvous, and we are proud to continue supporting events that combine positive energy, community spirit, and commitment."

Partnership with Xiaomi Tunisia

Sylvester Huang, Commercial Director of Xiaomi Tunisia, official partner of the event, added: "We are proud to be part of the Ooredoo Night Run by Xiaomi, an event that perfectly combines energy, innovation, and community spirit. Every year, we see more and more people adopting an active lifestyle, and this fifth edition promises to offer an even more dynamic and engaging experience for all."

Solidarity and Social Responsibility

As part of the RSE Tounes T3ich program, this fifth edition carries a strong message of solidarity in collaboration with the Tunisian association Ahna Maak, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting patients with serious illnesses and accompanying them throughout their recovery journey. Through psychological support, social assistance, and community mobilization, Ahna Maak works to restore hope and dignity to vulnerable people and their families.

Supporting a Young Girl in Need

In partnership with Ahna Maak, the 2026 edition of the Ooredoo Night Run by Xiaomi will dedicate 100% of registration fees to supporting Nour Soltani, an 18-year-old girl currently in rehabilitation after a femoral amputation due to osteosarcoma. Nour urgently needs a lower limb prosthesis to regain her mobility, continue her studies, and rebuild her autonomy.

Every Registration Counts

Through this initiative, every registration becomes more than just a participation in a race: it becomes a step towards hope. Participants will not only experience a unique sporting moment during Ramadan but will also contribute to transforming the life of a young girl, fully reflecting the spirit of Tounes T3ich and Ooredoo's commitment to supporting communities throughout Tunisia.
