Mansoor Al-Khater, CEO of Ooredoo, presented 2025 as a pivotal year, marked by the imminent deployment of 5G and the development of opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), in close collaboration with the Ministry of Telecommunications.

The company has strengthened its capabilities through a strategic partnership with Nvidia, offering advanced technological solutions and a dedicated space for Tunisian developers. Ooredoo is also committed to modernizing key sectors such as banking, healthcare, and education, while launching training initiatives, including the first AI hackathon in Tunisia.
Future Plans and Investments
For 2026, Ooredoo plans to launch an intelligent call center based on AI and digital financial services, alongside the extension of fiber optic coverage. With nearly 50% of the population already covered by 5G, the company is accelerating the development of its infrastructure and preparing for the arrival of 6G, while confirming its ambition to further extend 5G coverage by 2027, to sustainably support the Tunisian digital economy.
