Ooredoo Algeria Ranks Third in Mobile Operators with 25.44% Market Share
Ooredoo Algeria, ranked third among mobile operators in Algeria in terms of subscribers, held a 25.44% market share in the fourth quarter of 2023, just behind Mobilis and Djezzy, according to Eco Fin's information.
In the first quarter of 2024, the company recorded a turnover of 24.4 billion Algerian dinars (approximately $181.2 million), a 14.1% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
Ooredoo Algeria is among the subsidiaries that supported the growth of the Ooredoo group in the first quarter of 2024, alongside Iraq, the Maldives, and Tunisia. The Qatari group achieved revenue of 5.9 billion Qatari riyals (approximately $1.6 billion) during this period.
