Tunisia to Launch New Health Projects in 2025 with World Bank Support
On the sidelines of the "One Health" conference, Tunisian Health Minister Mustapha Ferjani met with a World Bank delegation led by Ahmadou Moustapha Ndiaye, Regional Director for the Maghreb and Malta, in the presence of Alexandre Arrobbio, Resident Representative in Tunisia.
The meeting announced the launch of new projects in 2025 to strengthen Tunisia's healthcare system, focusing on three priority axes:
1. Strengthening Epidemic and Emergency Preparedness
2. Restructuring Basic Healthcare Services
3. Developing Hospital and Emergency Services
The Health Minister emphasized the importance of accelerating the implementation of joint programs, while commending the World Bank's support and interaction with the conference's recommendations.
