Breast Cancer Awareness Month: A Call to Collective Action
October is more than just a awareness campaign; it's an invitation to collective engagement. By emphasizing the importance of early detection, this campaign reminds us that every gesture counts in the fight against breast cancer. Indeed, by promoting preventive practices and facilitating access to care, it weaves strong links between information and action, significantly contributing to saving lives.
As part of its commitment to the health and well-being of its employees, ATB organized a breast cancer awareness and early detection day at its headquarters. This initiative, carried out in partnership with the Tunisian Association for Assistance to Breast Cancer Patients (ATAMCS), the Medical Inspection and Occupational Health Department of Tunis, and the Regional Health Directorate of Tunis, highlighted the importance of early detection by providing direct access to screening.
On this occasion, a medical team was mobilized to perform free screening operations, while a awareness session informed employees about preventive practices and health.
Riadh Hajjej, General Manager of ATB, emphasized that this initiative reflects the company's social responsibility: "Early detection can save lives. We have a responsibility to inform and educate our community about this disease, as every gesture counts in the fight against cancer." Through this approach, ATB concretely illustrates how awareness translates into direct actions to protect its employees, while supporting the national fight against breast cancer.
Through this initiative, ATB combines awareness and social engagement, positioning itself as a mobilized actor for the health of its employees. By actively supporting the Pink October campaign, the bank does not just act; it inspires a collective dynamic, proving that together, we can build a more solidary and healthier future.
