UBCI Appoints Noureddine Tarhouni as Deputy General Manager to Head Business Pole

As part of its transformation plan, UBCI has undergone a reorganization at its business pole and appointed Noureddine Tarhouni as Deputy General Manager.

Tarhouni holds a degree in finance from the Higher Institute of Management in Tunis and pursued a third cycle at the IFID (Institute of Financing for Arab Maghreb Development). He has held several high-responsibility positions within UBCI. Since 2020, he has been the Central Director of Risks, a member of the bank's executive committee, and Secretary of the Risk Committee. During his tenure, he significantly contributed to establishing UBCI's reputation as one of the banks with the best risk management models in the Tunisian banking sector.

Between 2017 and 2020, Tarhouni held the position of Director of Corporate & Investment Banking at the International Bank for Commerce and Industry of Senegal (BICIS), a subsidiary of BNP Paribas. Between 2013 and 2017, he headed UBCI's Commercial Network.

According to Mohamed Koubaa, UBCI's General Manager: "We are convinced that this appointment will energize commercial activity and prepare the bank for a new phase focused on innovation, quality, and sustainability. Tarhouni's experience and expertise will actively contribute to driving growth initiatives and strengthening UBCI's market positioning."
