Lamia Jaidane Mazigh Appointed to the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Tunisia
Lamia Jaidane Mazigh has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), in accordance with Decree No. 2024-332 published in the Official Gazette on May 20, 2024.
A renowned university professor recognized for her expertise in the financial and economic sectors, she will hold this position for a three-year term, succeeding Leila Baghdadi.
A graduate in economic sciences from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Jaidane Mazigh also chairs the Master's program in international banking and finance at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management in Mahdia, which is part of the University of Monastir.
