Netflix has introduced "Moments", a new feature that allows users to capture and share excerpts from series, movies, or documentaries. By clicking on a shared moment, the episode starts exactly at the chosen scene, similar to a YouTube timecode. This option aims to increase traffic via social networks and enhance the user experience. Currently available on iOS, "Moments" will arrive on Android in the coming weeks.
Here's how to capture a clip:
- Open Netflix on your mobile device and select the episode of the series or movie you want to capture.
- Pause at the beginning of the desired scene, then select "Moments" from the menu.
- Click "Save" to save the excerpt.
