Artiterroir Contest: Promoting Local Products and Artisanal Creations

Following a call for applications launched last month as part of the second edition of the Artiterroir regional contest, a jury composed of professionals from the sector rewarded 3 creators for the quality and originality of their achievements. According to a statement from the Swiss Embassy in Tunisia, which participated on Tuesday in Nabeul in the award ceremony, this edition is themed: "Local products of Nabeul, a source of inspiration for artisanal items".
Winners
The winners are:
- First Prize: Lotfi Boughzela
- Second Prize: Maha Mami
- Third Prize: Rahma Bouaoun
The winners will have the opportunity to promote and market their creations during the Artisanal Creation Fair, scheduled from March 27 to April 7, 2026.
Context
This contest is part of the Project for Access to Markets for Agri-Food and Local Products (PAMPAT), supported by the State Secretariat for the Economy and implemented by UNIDO Tunisia. Open to artisans, craft enterprises, and designers from the Nabeul governorate, the initiative aims to enhance local wealth through innovative and authentic creations inspired by three emblematic products of the region: orange blossom, harissa, and prickly pear fig.
Objective
The objective of the Artiterroir contest is to promote local products and artisanal creations, while providing a platform for artisans and designers to showcase their work and connect with potential customers. By supporting this initiative, the Swiss Embassy in Tunisia aims to contribute to the development of the local economy and the promotion of Tunisian culture.
