Tunisian Federation of Insurance Companies Announces New President
The Tunisian Federation of Insurance Companies (FTUSA) has recently announced the appointment of Mondher Khabcheche, General Manager of UIB Insurance, as the new president of the federation, effective until April 14, 2026, succeeding Hassène Feki.
Background and Experience
Khabcheche has already been a part of the executive board since April 2023, when he was elected vice-president of the FTUSA. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held several key positions in the insurance sector. Before joining UIB Insurance, he spent nearly ten years leading the Tunisian insurance company Takaful, also known as At-Takafulia, which was later acquired by Wifak Bank. He also served as Director of the Insurance Management Center at the Protegys Group for two years.
Previous Roles
Prior to his current position, Khabcheche accumulated eleven years of experience (2000-2011) as Director of Personal Insurance at GAT Insurance. During this time, he also held the position of Technical Director at AMINA, a subsidiary of GAT specializing in life insurance and capitalization, until the end of June 2010. Additionally, he was in charge of Personal Risk Management at the Mutual Insurance Company of Education (MAE) for two years.
Early Career
Khabcheche's career began in 1996, when he was responsible for liquidating retirement pensions at the National Social Security Fund (CNSS). He is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Management in Tunis (ISG).

- Nebgha Enneifer (née Driss), General Manager of Cotunace, newly elected vice-president
- Anouar Bel Haj Abdellatif, General Manager of Carte Vie, elected vice-president
- Yazid Sellaouti, General Manager of Lloyd Vie, reappointed as vice-president
