Mohamed Seddiki, the Nomadic Entrepreneur
At 40 years old, Mohamed Seddiki is advancing like those entrepreneurs who can't stay in one place. The comfort of large structures has never really appealed to him. What he's looking for is movement, creation, and impact. With a bachelor's degree in hand from Tunisia, he chose Germany and settled in Hanover to study computer science. His professional career began at Volkswagen, where he spent eight years evolving from an engineer to a Product Manager, climbing the ranks in one of the largest European industrial groups. However, the adrenaline of internal projects was no longer enough. The desire to innovate, make quick decisions, and build in his own way became stronger than the security of a stable position.
A Strategic Shift
He then made a strategic turn and chose two areas of action: education and fintech.
In the field of education, he founded an organization in Germany dedicated to teaching languages to the diaspora. What started as a small structure gradually became an international network: six branches in Tunisia, three in Algeria, and a presence in India. The organization obtained certification from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize official exams like ÖSD and ECL, essential for many expatriation projects. The idea is simple: to transform the language barrier into a bridge of opportunities.
Fintech Venture
In 2023, he ventured into fintech. Inspired by the PayPal model, he developed a payment solution for the European market, with a clear focus: to facilitate instant transfers between Europe and Africa, particularly to Tunisia and Morocco. His flagship promise through his Move Payments platform: zero fees for the diaspora. He is currently working on a "Global Account" concept to enable Tunisian freelancers to have a virtual international card and manage multiple currencies with more freedom.
Unconventional Management Approach
His management approach differs from traditional models. Each project is structured as an autonomous startup, with teams interested in profits every three months. He advocates for a culture of assumed error: during the first six months, new collaborators are encouraged to test, make mistakes, and learn. The goal is clear: to build trust and autonomy.
Well-being and Team Dynamics
Well-being also occupies a strategic place. A "Chief of Happiness" oversees the internal dynamics. Every year, the company temporarily closes its offices to bring together all international teams for a collective trip – from Dubai to Majorca, via Turkey or Tunisia. Cohesion, creative energy, and shared vision become performance drivers.
A Hybrid Model
Based in Germany but attached to his Tunisian roots, Mohamed Seddiki navigates between several countries to manage his activities. Always attentive to technological developments, he integrates artificial intelligence into his processes, notably through tools like ChatGPT Plus, to optimize the time and productivity of his teams.
Between technical expertise, commercial instinct, and human-centered management, he builds a hybrid model without borders. For him, each challenge is not an obstacle, but a terrain for expansion.
