Temporary Traffic Diversion on Regional Road 31
The Ministry of Equipment and Housing informs users of Regional Road 31, connecting the Manouba intersection to the X20 road intersection, of a temporary traffic diversion due to development works.
These works, planned as part of the project to protect the north-eastern areas of Greater Tunis from flooding, will take place over a period of 180 days starting from Sunday, December 15, 2024.
During this period, a single lane will be used for two-way traffic on successive 200-meter segments.
The Ministry urges motorists to respect the temporary signage in place and to exercise caution to avoid any incidents during the works. Users are invited to plan for additional travel time and, whenever possible, to consider alternative routes.
This project aims to improve urban water management and prevent flooding risks in a strategic area of the capital.
The Ministry reaffirms its commitment to minimizing disruptions for local residents and road users while ensuring the safety of the works.
