Industrial Upgrade Program: Four Companies Approved for 116 M TND Investments

The consultative commission of the Industrial Upgrade Program (PMN) for enterprises approved, on Friday, four industrial company files with a total value of 116 million Tunisian dinars (M TND) and subsidies of 13 M TND.

These companies operate in the textile and clothing, pharmaceutical, agri-food, and aeronautical component sectors. The validated investments aim to strengthen their competitiveness and integrate new technologies, according to a statement from the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy published on Friday.

Chaired by Chief of Staff Afef Chachi, the commission brought together representatives from the Ministries of Industry, Commerce, Economy, and Planning, Finance, Environment, and UTICA. The commission also approved 105 priority technological investment files, worth 8 million dinars, with subsidies approaching 3 million dinars.

Furthermore, the commission validated the works of the PMN restricted commission, which approved 51 upgrade files totaling 95 million dinars and benefiting from subsidies of 14 million dinars.
