Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy to Receive 7435 Million Dinar Budget for 2025
The Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy will benefit from a budget of 7435 million dinars for the 2025 fiscal year, according to Minister Fatma Thabet's statements during a parliamentary session at the Bardo Palace.
Allocation of Funds
A total of 7300 million dinars will be dedicated to main interventions, while 39 million dinars will cover salary expenses and 5.6 million dinars will be allocated to investments.
Energy Sector Prioritized
The energy sector will receive the largest share of the budget, with 7200 million dinars dedicated to this area. A significant portion of these funds, amounting to 7112 million dinars, will finance subsidies for hydrocarbons.
Objective: Reducing Energy Costs
This support aims to alleviate the cost of energy in a context of dependence on energy imports and fluctuations in global prices.
Industry and Mines Sectors
The industry and mines sectors will receive 184 million dinars and 8.2 million dinars, respectively, with a focus on improving industrial performance, particularly in the textile sector.
Promoting Competitiveness and Investment
The ministry is committed to reinforcing the competitiveness of Tunisian enterprises, fostering a favorable business climate, and attracting new investments.
