Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Signs Partnership Agreement with Tunisian Solidarity Bank
The Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Riadh Chaoued, signed a partnership agreement with the Tunisian Solidarity Bank (BTS) yesterday.
This partnership is part of the launch of the "Supporting Competitiveness of Institutions and Economic Empowerment of Citizens through Job Creation CAP Jobs" program. The program aims to provide 13,000 loans during the project completion period.
The CAP Jobs program, which will be implemented from 2025 to 2027, targets job seekers with project ideas, active institutions, and self-starters who need financing to develop their projects.
This initiative aims to contribute to job creation and support economic and social inclusion by improving employment opportunities for job seekers and developing their skills through complementary training and entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, the program promotes the establishment of the self-entrepreneurship system, develops and strengthens institutional capacities to improve employment governance.
The agreement was concluded in the presence of the Director General of the Tunisian Solidarity Bank, as well as a significant number of ministerial officials, the National Agency for Employment and Independent Work, the Tunisian Solidarity Bank, and the African Development Bank.
