Strategic Partnership to Promote Financial Inclusion and Entrepreneurship
The Microcred SA company, a microfinance institution committed to financial inclusion, and the Face Tunisie Association (Fondation Agir Contre l'Exclusion) are pleased to announce the signing of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the economic integration of women and young artisans through social entrepreneurship.
Face Tunisie actively works against all forms of exclusion, particularly economic and social. As part of this effort, it has created a Center of Excellence in Social Entrepreneurship, located at Dar El Fecra, rue guermed in the medina of Tunis. This center is dedicated to identifying, providing intensive training, and offering personalized support to women and young people with innovative projects, helping them transform their skills and expertise into sustainable and impactful economic activities.
For its part, Microcred SA shares this ambition by facilitating access to responsible and adapted financial services for individuals excluded or underserved by the traditional banking system, as well as providing support to micro-entrepreneurs through its non-financial services unit. This contributes to the emergence of a new generation of Tunisian entrepreneurs.
Aware that the business creation phase requires effective access to financing, the two institutions have decided to partner to create a solid bridge between excellent support and easy access to microcredit. This partnership aims to offer a complete value chain, from training to the realization of high-impact social entrepreneurial projects.
As part of this collaboration:
- Face Tunisie will provide training, support, and pre-selection of projects carried by women and young artisans, including support for formalizing activities and recognizing achievements.
- Microcred will provide adapted financing solutions, priority processing of files from the FACE program, and contribute to the financing of training cycles and events promoting the marketing and visibility of projects.
This partnership is part of a shared vision of inclusive economic development, promoting craftsmanship, and strengthening employability, serving a more solidary and sustainable Tunisia.
"Through this partnership with Microcred, we are taking a key step: linking excellent entrepreneurial support to concrete access to financing. Our ambition is clear: to enable women and young artisans to transform their skills into viable, inclusive, and sustainable economic activities." — Zahra Ben Nasr, President, Face Tunisie
"At Microcred, we believe that financing only makes sense if it is part of a structured and supported process. This partnership with Face Tunisie allows us to support various projects with economic value and social impact, serving the empowerment of women and young people in Tunisia." — Awatef Achour Mechri, General Manager, Microcred
