Mayssa Mrabet Appointed Country Manager of Westerwelle Startup Haus Tunis

Mayssa Mrabet has been appointed as the Country Manager of Westerwelle Startup Haus Tunis. This appointment follows a nearly 20-year career dedicated to the digital sector, entrepreneurship, and startup support across Tunisia, Africa, and the MENA region.

Her return to Tunisia comes after a recent stint at the Qatar Development Bank (QDB), where she served as an Incubation & Acceleration Specialist in Doha since October 2024. She joins Westerwelle Startup Haus with a profile that sits at the intersection of incubation, investment, program development, and strategic partnerships.

Prior to her role at QDB, Mayssa Mrabet led the community at AfriLabs, one of Africa’s leading networks dedicated to technological innovation. She subsequently served as the Partnerships & Business Development Director at Njano. Additionally, she spent nearly four years heading the incubation program at Afkar Incubator.

Her professional journey also includes a role as Senior Program Manager at Impact Partner, Tunisia’s first impact investment fund and social business accelerator representing Yunus Social Business. Earlier in her career, she worked at E-Delegation and Edatis, focusing on consulting, web and mobile project management, and commercial development. Mayssa holds an Executive MBA from the South Mediterranean University (SMU) and a Higher Technician Diploma in Multimedia from ISAMM.

At Westerwelle Startup Haus Tunis, her primary objectives will be to consolidate the support offered to entrepreneurs and to strengthen connections between Tunisian startups, investors, and regional and international ecosystems. This strategic focus aligns seamlessly with her career trajectory, which has been defined by facilitating access to funding, developing talent, driving internationalization, and building public-private partnerships.
