A Day Dedicated to Mathematics and Future Careers to be Held Tomorrow at the Tunis Science City

In partnership with the IFT and the Mediterranean Association of Mathematical Sciences, a day dedicated to mathematics and future careers will take place tomorrow, Friday, January 3, at the Tunis Science City.

As the science that generates all others, mathematics remains an essential and indispensable knowledge for any scientific understanding. It is from this idea that the certainty arises that many future careers will always be based on mathematics, even if they must adapt to the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in our future economic models.

Among the topics to be addressed, cryptography, financial mathematics in banking, and data analysis will be discussed. Skander Moalla, a Ph.D. student at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, will share his experience with mathematics and AI.

What will the job market look like in a few years? What skills will be most sought after to integrate easily? And can Tunisia equal the high-tech infrastructure and opportunities of rich and developed countries?

These are the questions that will be explored during this day. Students and even high school students who understand the importance of a solid foundation in mathematics will come to look towards a promising future.
