Tunisia’s Ministry of Equipment and Housing Appoints Chief Engineer Nadia Mazni to Lead Major Sports Infrastructure Projects in Greater Tunis
The Ministry of Equipment and Housing has officially appointed Chief Engineer Nadia Mazni to head the Objective-Based Management Unit tasked with overseeing several high-priority sports infrastructure projects across Greater Tunis.
Strategic Appointment Formalized in Official Journal
The decision, issued by the Minister of Equipment and Housing on August 10, 2026, was published in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic (JORT) on August 18. The appointment places Mazni in charge of critical development initiatives, including the renovation and modernization of the El Menzah Sports Complex and the Radès Olympic Stadium.
Project Scope & Administrative Framework
Under her leadership, Mazni will direct the execution of multiple flagship projects, including:
- The El Menzah Olympic Stadium
- The El Menzah Olympic Swimming Pool
- The El Menzah Sports Palace
- The upgrading of the Radès Olympic Stadium
This consolidation of management under a single unit comes as these facilities undergo essential renovations to meet modern standards. Administratively, the decree stipulates that Mazni will receive the allowances and benefits corresponding to the rank of Director of Central Administration, in accordance with Article 5 of Decree No. 742 of 2023 (dated December 1, 2023).
