Malta-Based HandsOn Systems Ltd. Announces Major Investment Project in Tunisia
A Maltese delegation from HandsOn Systems Ltd. announced on Thursday, December 18, 2025, its intention to develop a major investment project in Tunisia: the construction of a 350 MW photovoltaic solar power plant in the Gafsa region, in the south of the country, with a total estimated cost of 520 million euros.
Visit and Presentation
The visit, organized by FIPA-Tunisia, provided an opportunity for the representatives of the Maltese company to present their activities. HandsOn Systems Ltd. specializes in GPS tracking and fleet management solutions, asset management via RFID, intelligent energy solutions, and IoT platforms for data collection and processing. The delegation, led by Geoffrey Farrugia, General Manager, was accompanied by Ahmed Marwan, Technical Director, and Marouen Ketat, Africa Director.

The Maltese delegation expressed its satisfaction with the Tunisian business climate and reaffirmed its willingness to expand its investments in the country, while exploring future technological and energy projects.
