Annual Ranking of World's Best Airports Sees Major Changes for 2024

The annual ranking of the world's best airports, established by London-based consulting firm Skytrax, has undergone significant changes for the 2024 edition. The Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, has taken the top spot, relegating Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport out of the top 5. The top spots are now occupied by Doha Hamad, closely followed by Singapore Changi, Seoul Incheon, Tokyo Haneda, and Tokyo Narita. This change marks a significant turning point in the global competition among high-quality airports.

However, it is noteworthy that none of our airports feature in the top 100 of this global ranking, including Tunis-Carthage.

On a separate note, it is worth highlighting the approval of an expansion project for Tunis-Carthage Airport. The new terminal, covering approximately 80,000 square meters, is expected to accommodate around 8 million passengers per year, representing a significant step forward for the airport's future. This substantial expansion will increase the airport's total capacity to around 13 million passengers per year, reinforcing its position as a major air hub in the region.
