Ma French Bank to Cease Operations by Summer 2025
The online bank Ma French Bank will gradually shut down its activities by summer 2025. Clients are invited to transfer their assets to another banking establishment.
Ma French Bank is bowing out after only four years of existence. This brutal decision directly affects 675,000 clients and marks a turning point in the history of French neo-banks.
Launched in July 2019 with high ambitions, Ma French Bank aimed to reach one million clients. Despite an attractive offer including free banking cards, the establishment never achieved the expected profitability, leading La Banque postale to put an end to the adventure.
According to experts, the major factors explaining this bitter failure are an unviable low-cost economic model, excessively high operational costs, and fierce competition.
