International Union of Banks - SGSS Tunisia Wins Prestigious Award from Global Finance
The International Union of Banks - SGSS Tunisia has been awarded the "World's Best Sub-custodian Banks 2025" prize by Global Finance magazine, recognizing its excellence as the best sub-custodian in Tunisia. This distinction is the result of a survey conducted by Global Finance in its 23rd edition, which ranked the top service providers in 7 regions, 82 countries, based on various performance and service criteria.
To select the winners, the magazine considered market studies, expert contributions, and feedback from banks to identify institutions that reliably offer the best services in markets and regions. The evaluation criteria included:
- Client relationships
- Service quality
- Price competitiveness
- Smooth handling of exceptional items
- Technological platforms
- Post-trade operations
- Business continuity plans
- Knowledge of local regulations and practices
The performance was judged over the period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. This international award crowns the expertise of UIB in its Custody activity, launched in 2013. It is the eighth distinction from Global Finance for UIB/SGSS Tunisia since 2015 and the nineteenth of its kind, including those from "Global Custodian" and "Global Investor".
