UBCI Partners with 7th International Handy Music Festival to Promote Inclusive Tunisian Society

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach and commitment to an inclusive Tunisian society, UBCI is thrilled to have supported the 7th edition of the International Handy Music Festival. This unique event, which took place from May 15 to 18, 2025, was organized by the "IBSAR Leisure and Culture for the Blind and Visually Impaired" association under the theme "Art without Limits, Humanity without Barriers".

UBCI was proud to partner with this artistic gathering, initiated by IBSAR and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, and the Swiss Embassy in Tunisia, which highlights the artistic creativity of people with disabilities. The festival saw a successful international edition with the participation of 13 countries: Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Iran, Spain, Switzerland, France, Poland, Portugal, and Iraq, with several participating for the first time.

UBCI's support for the International Handy Music Festival falls within the framework of its CSR policy. The bank advocates for the inclusion of people with disabilities as a key axis of social inclusion and positive social impact. By collaborating with Tunisian associations like IBSAR, UBCI aims to contribute to a society where every talent can express itself and find its place.

Mehdi Farhat, Director of CSR, emphasized on this occasion that: "UBCI is delighted to have contributed, alongside IBSAR, to the success of the International Handy Music Festival. This event powerfully demonstrates how art can unite and celebrate the diversity of talents. Supporting such initiatives is at the heart of our civic commitment to a more inclusive and equitable society, and we are proud to witness the positive impact of this festival."
