UBCI Commits to Education and Combats School Dropout Rates

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, UBCI is marking the new school year by reaffirming its commitment to education and combating school dropout rates.

Following the renovation of Birine Primary School (in the Sidi Hassine delegation), UBCI has launched a solidarity operation to distribute school bags filled with textbooks, notebooks, and school supplies in collaboration with the "RE:SCHOOL EDUCATION" project.

In addition to the school bag distribution, UBCI has embarked on a sustainable project with RE:SCHOOL EDUCATION to offer educational support workshops to nearly 2,000 students throughout the school year at Birine School and several other primary schools in Greater Tunis. Over 450 workshops have been conducted during the 2023/2024 school year, focusing on various themes. These workshops were designed and developed to enable children to learn and have fun through interactive and dynamic games tailored to their age and level.

This ambitious school support program, which complements the national education program, is part of RE:SCHOOL EDUCATION's mission to assist teachers and primary school directors by sharing their expertise in learning.

These recurring actions demonstrate UBCI's commitment to not only combating school dropout rates but also supporting vulnerable populations affected by precariousness.
