Opera House of Tunis Celebrates Music Day with a Diverse Concert
On June 21, 2025, at 8 pm, the Théâtre des Régions at the Cité de la Culture will host a concert organized by the Opera House of Tunis to celebrate Music Day.
The event will honor the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra with a varied program, blending classical and contemporary music. They will rediscover works by Georges Bizet, Johannes Brahms, and Edward Grieg. The renowned piano concerto by Grieg will be performed by pianist Bassem Makni.
The evening will also feature film music with the interpretation of "Les Choristes" by Bruno Coulais, performed by the polyphonic children's orchestra of the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra, making their stage debut on this occasion.
A dance performance will complete the evening: on the Place des Théâtres, in the open air, the dancers of the Opera Ballet will present an excerpt from the ballet Carmen, signed by French dancer and choreographer Abou Lagraa.
