Iraq and Syria Simplify Visa Procedures with E-Visas
Iraq and Syria have decided to simplify their visa formalities by introducing e-Visas. Although these two countries are not very popular among tourists, they hope to revive their tourism sector with this new measure.
Syria Launches E-Visa Service
The Syrian Minister of Tourism, Mohammad Rami Martini, announced that the electronic visa service for visiting Syria will be available starting from last May. Tourists will be able to apply for their visa online, making the process simpler and faster.
Iraq Already Offers E-Visa
For Iraq, the electronic visa is already available on the website evisa.iq. Visitors can make their application online without having to go through the traditional lengthy procedures. Similarly, to obtain an e-Visa for Syria, simply visit the website evisa.sy.
This new measure aims to attract more tourists to these countries and boost their tourism industry.
