Tunisian National Kendo Team Prepares for Exceptional Immersion in Japan with FABA's Support

After a European podium, the Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed Foundation (FABA) accompanies the Tunisian national Kendo team's preparations for an exceptional immersion in Japan, featuring high-level training and international competition.

Just a few weeks after shining at the European Kendo Championship, the Tunisian national team is preparing to take a historic step: a trip to Japan, the birthplace of their discipline. This journey, scheduled for the coming weeks, is part of an intensive sports training program, resulting from a partnership between the Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed Foundation (FABA), Microcred Tunisie, and the Tunisian Kendo Team.

The young Tunisian athletes will have the opportunity to train at prestigious dojos in Japan, alongside world-renowned masters. These training sessions aim to strengthen their technique, refine their sense of combat, and absorb the profound spirit of Japanese Kendo, founded on respect, rigor, and self-control.

The stay will also include participation in a major international competition, gathering the best selections from Asia, Europe, and America. A unique experience, both on a sporting and cultural level, for this team that has continued to progress over the past few years.

"Accompanying these young athletes to Japan is offering them a bridge to excellence, but also encouraging them to dream big for Tunisia." - Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed Foundation

This project is part of a shared vision between FABA and Microcred: to emerge a committed, competent, and inspiring Tunisian youth, capable of carrying the country's values high on the global stage.

As the final preparations are underway - visas, logistical planning, physical and mental preparation -, enthusiasm is palpable among athletes and coaches alike. All are preparing to live an unforgettable sporting and human adventure.
