All for Music
The Arts & Culture Foundation by UIB celebrates music and responds to the expectations of all audiences by supporting top-tier festivals, local events, and innovative initiatives.
From the first day of summer, the passionate voices of the Angham by UIB choir set the tone. On June 21, during the Music Day, the UIB's corporate hymn, performed by a choir composed of Union Internationale de Banques (UIB) employees, resonated loudly.
Carried by a highly engaging video widely shared on social media, this unique initiative in the banking sector met with remarkable success. Composed by Hassen Doss with lyrics by Khaled Oueghlani, the UIB's hymn was magnificently performed by the Angham by UIB choir under the direction of choir leader Rihab Sghaier.
Between Cultural Jewels and Local Festivals This ideal prelude then led to the summer of festivals. Vectors of classical and modern music, the El Jem International Symphonic Music Festival and the Dougga International Festival benefited from the support of the Arts & Culture Foundation by UIB.
Attached to two premier ancient sites, in the shadow of the Roman theater and the magnificent 3rd-century amphitheater, these two cultural jewels contribute to the radiance of arts and heritage with the patronage of the Arts & Culture Foundation by UIB.
Concerned with proximity and cultural decentralization, the Arts & Culture Foundation by UIB also supported smaller, yet deeply rooted, local events. Thus, the Radès Jasmine Festival, in the southern suburbs of the capital, and the Enfidha Festival, at the confluence of Cap Bon and Sahel, also received the support of the Arts & Culture Foundation by UIB.
Mobilizing the local public and broadcasting quality programs, these two festivals have been consolidated for the second consecutive year.
Alongside Innovative Initiatives Several innovative initiatives were also supported by the patronage of the Arts & Culture Foundation by UIB. Notably, the "Yalla Nghani" evening cycle, which combined music and interactive public performance this summer. Also, the Franco-Tunisian event, which took place in the gardens of Dar El Kamila in La Marsa in July, illustrating artistic synergies between Tunisia and France.
"Symphony at the Summit" on September 29, 2024 It was at the northernmost point of Africa, precisely on the beach of Cap Angela in Bizerte, that the Carthage Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Hafedh El Makni, celebrated both music and Tunisia's natural beauty on the last Sunday of September.
A true "Symphony at the Summit" in a magnificent setting that majestically combined nature and enchanting music.
A season of all kinds of music, which for the Arts & Culture Foundation by UIB, unfolded from June 21 to September 29, 2024.
Art and musical diversity remain priorities in the action of the Arts & Culture Foundation by UIB, chaired by Mr. Kamel Néji, which tirelessly pursues its patronage in favor of top-tier festivals, local events, and innovative initiatives.
