Spain to Renew €25 Million Financing Line for Tunisian Businesses

As part of the consolidation of economic ties between Tunisia and Spain, Tarak Chérif, President of Conect International, announced that Spain is considering renewing a €25 million financing line for Tunisian businesses, spanning 15 years with a 5-year grace period, according to the Tunisian Press Agency (TAP).

Continuation of Spanish Support

This initiative is a continuation of Spanish support, which has already established a similar financing line since 2018, accessible to Tunisian SMEs and companies since the beginning of 2020.

Discussions at Hispack International Fair

This credit was discussed during a visit by Conect International to Spain from May 8 to 10, 2024, as part of the international professional fair for packaging, processing, and logistics, "Hispack".

Spain: Tunisia's 4th Largest Foreign Investor

It is worth noting that Spain is Tunisia's 4th largest foreign investor, after Italy, France, and Germany. The volume of trade exchanges between Tunisia and Spain recorded a 27% increase in imports and a 36% increase in exports in 2022.
