Tunisia's Tourism Revenue Sees 6% Increase
According to data from the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), cumulative tourism revenue reached 6,241.3 million Tunisian dinars (Mtd) as of October 31, 2024, compared to 5,882.6 Mtd recorded during the same period the previous year, marking a 6% increase.
Meanwhile, transfers from Tunisians living abroad (TRE) stood at 6,637.9 Mtd, compared to 6,514.1 Mtd the previous year.
Additionally, the debt service reached 12,713.9 Mtd as of October 2024, compared to 10,217.7 Mtd as of October 2023.
