Central Bank of Tunisia Reports Notable Increase in Tourism Revenue
The indicators published by the Central Bank of Tunisia on August 19, 2025, show a significant increase in tourism revenue. Between January 1 and August 10, 2025, tourism revenue reached 4,688 million Tunisian dinars (Mtnd), compared to 4,321 Mtnd during the same period in 2024, representing a 367 Mtnd increase.
In parallel, the Central Bank of Tunisia's net foreign exchange assets stood at 24,230 Mtnd as of August 18, 2025, down from 25,018 Mtnd a year earlier, a decrease of approximately 787 Mtnd. In terms of coverage, they represent 105 days of imports, compared to 113 days in 2024.
