GIZ Tunisia Launches Call for Expression of Interest to Support 40 Tunisian Companies in Obtaining ISO 14001:2015 Certification
The GIZ Tunisia has launched a call for expression of interest to support 40 Tunisian companies in obtaining the ISO 14001:2015 certification, an international standard dedicated to environmental management. This initiative aims to help industrial and service companies related to industry reduce their environmental impact while strengthening their competitiveness in international markets.
This program is part of the Qualitative Growth for Employment (CQE) project, implemented by GIZ Tunisia in partnership with the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union in Tunisia.
The ISO 14001:2015 certification enables companies to structure their continuous improvement approach, respond to regulatory requirements, and strengthen their positioning in relation to international standards. It is also an asset for accessing new markets where environmental criteria are increasingly determining factors.
The call is open to all industrial companies, regardless of sector, provided they have been in operation for at least two years, are registered in Tunisia, and are financially viable. The commitment of the general management is also required to apply.
Interested companies can submit their application online to be among the 40 selected companies that will benefit from comprehensive support to obtain the certification and embark on a more environmentally friendly industrial approach.
