Applications Now Open for the 15th Edition of the Orange Social Entrepreneurship Award (POESAM) in Africa and the Middle East
The Orange Social Entrepreneurship Award (POESAM) is now accepting applications for its 15th edition, supporting social innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa and the Middle East.
Since 2011, this award has recognized startups that leverage technology to drive positive impact in sectors such as education, healthcare, e-commerce, agriculture, and the environment.
This edition is open to candidates from 17 countries in the Orange zone and will take place in two phases:
- A national selection phase, running until May, which will designate three winners per country
- An international final phase, featuring 10 finalists for the Grand Prix and 5 for the Women's Prize
A jury of influential figures in tech and entrepreneurship from Africa and the Middle East will select the three Grand Prix winners and the Women's Prize winner in October.
The awards range from €10,000 to €25,000 for the Grand Prix and €20,000 for the Women's Prize.
Applications are open until May 18th.
