African German Young Leaders in Business (AGYLE) 2025: Applications Now Open
The African German Young Leaders in Business (AGYLE) 2025 program is now accepting applications. This initiative aims to connect young talents from Africa and Germany within a long-term economic network. Its objective is to foster Afro-German dialogue and strengthen economic cooperation between the two regions. By encouraging exchanges and collaboration among participants, AGYLE seeks to generate new dynamics in the context of development cooperation between Africa and Germany.
Program Overview
The program brings together actors from diverse sectors, including startups, large corporations, digital technologies, green innovations, circular economy, and agricultural and agri-food industries. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and supported by the Agency for Economic Development and Affairs.
Eligibility Criteria
AGYLE is open to young professionals under 40 years old, with at least three years of experience in a leadership position or having founded their own company. Candidates must be from or have worked professionally for at least five years in Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia, or Germany. The program places particular emphasis on initiatives promoting a sustainable future and more ecological cities. It also targets individuals willing to actively engage within the AGYLE alumni network.
Program Benefits
Participation in the AGYLE Live Week is partially sponsored, covering a significant portion of expenses, including accommodation and some meals, except for certain dinners which remain the responsibility of participants.
