Tunisian Entrepreneur Samir Aouni Conquers the Olive Oil Industry
The young Tunisian entrepreneur, Samir Aouni, from Sidi Ali Bouaoun, Sidi Bouzid, launched "Chebla for Food Oils" in 2011, despite having a background in computer science. He focused on olive oil, a family tradition, and it paid off! Recently, his company won three gold medals in international competitions, in addition to the eight won last year, according to the latest news.
His strategy? Producing high-quality oils with good ingredients and modern machinery, targeting specific markets. To sell his products globally, he attends exhibitions and competitions, and even plans to export more. With three factories and permanent and seasonal employees, his goal is to become the king of organic olive oil in Tunisia. In the future, he aims to further improve his production for export.
