Wided Rezgui Wins Prestigious Khalifa Award for Education
Wided Rezgui, a teacher at Boumhel College in Ben Arous, has been honored with the prestigious Khalifa Award for Education. Established in 2007 in the United Arab Emirates, this award aims to recognize excellence in education, both in the UAE and the Arab world, by acknowledging talented individuals and innovators in various pedagogical fields.
As a mathematics specialist, Rezgui was rewarded for her innovative pedagogical approach, which combines the STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) with the judicious use of digital technologies.
She has also been recognized for her creative use of cardboard to decompose and visualize mathematical concepts, making learning more tangible and engaging for her students.
The award ceremony will take place on May 14th in Abu Dhabi.
