New Infographic Highlights Tunisia's Thriving Industry 4.0 Startup Ecosystem
A new infographic published by Entrepreneurs of Tunisia has mapped out the startup ecosystem in Industry 4.0 in Tunisia. These entities have the potential to revolutionize the economy by innovating and transforming traditional businesses through advanced technological solutions. The benefits are positive, impacting the efficiency, security, and competitiveness of the industry, creating new economic opportunities.
The infographic features startups in:
- 3D printing
- Cloud Computing
- Big Data & IA Analytics (6 startups)
- ERP & MES
- IoT (18 startups)
- Robotics (8 startups)
In total, there are 39 startups as of May 2024, representing only 3% of the total number of startups. Geographically, they are located in the Greater Tunis area, with 5 in Sousse, 4 in Sfax, 2 in Nabeul, 1 in Gafsa, and 1 in Monastir. Notably, an absolute majority of these startups, 35, were founded or co-founded by women.
