Chinese Business Delegation Expresses Interest in Investing in Tunisia's Tea Sector
A delegation of Chinese businessmen specializing in the tea industry, from the Hubei region and led by Song Huiyu, President of the Chibi Municipal Committee, has expressed interest in investment projects in Tunisia.
Jalel Tebib, Director General of FIPA-Tunisia, presented the business climate and opportunities in the tea sector to the Chinese investors, inviting them to collaborate with local actors. Following the meeting, connections were made with Tunisian operators in the tea industry, paving the way for concrete collaborations and future joint projects.
Additionally, it is worth noting that the Chinese group Wuhan Yangluo Port Services has also expressed interest in other agricultural sectors, including olive oil and dates, thereby strengthening the potential for bilateral economic cooperation. Source: FIPA-TUNISIA
