Social Network X Returns to Brazil After Month-Long Suspension
Social network X began returning to Brazil on Wednesday after more than a month of suspension, following a confrontation between its owner, Elon Musk, and Supreme Court Judge Alexandre de Moraes, who authorized the lifting of the ban on Tuesday.
De Moraes had ordered the closure of X on August 30 after a months-long dispute with Musk over freedom of expression, far-right accounts, and disinformation.
Musk's company finally agreed to all the demands, including blocking certain accounts, paying fines, and appointing a legal representative, whose absence had led to the suspension.
