Business Schools in Africa Prepare for Major Transformation to Remain Competitive Globally
The University of Qatar (QU) is launching an ambitious project to enhance the quality of business education on the continent, in partnership with five top African institutions.
Funded by the Qatar Fund for Development, this project aims to establish new standards in business and commerce education in Africa. It involves reforming curricula, increasing scientific research, and strategic management.
The agreement signed between QU and African institutions marks the beginning of an essential collaboration. According to Dr. Rana Sobh, Dean of the College of Business and Economics at QU, this initiative is more than just a formality: it celebrates a shared vision and future achievements.
This strategic collaboration will enable partner schools to align with the highest international academic standards. The goal is to develop high-quality education, based on global best practices, to equip teachers and students with the skills necessary to contribute to the continent's economic and social development.
