Ministerial Council Approves Development Program for Gafsa Phosphate Company
A ministerial council chaired by the Head of Government, Ahmed Hachani (prior to the appointment of the new head of government), approved on August 7 the development program for the Gafsa Phosphate Company (CPG) for 2025-2030.
In fact, this program aims to modernize the transportation of phosphate by train and to develop the necessary conditioning spaces.
The council also emphasized the need to accelerate the construction of the Om Al-Khachab production unit in Gafsa, and to study the hydraulic phosphate transportation project, based on seawater desalination and solar electricity production.
