A national competition will be launched to design the logo and visual identity for the event "Tunis, Arab Tourism Capital 2027". The goal is to create an image that reflects the value of this event and its tourist and promotional importance.
This decision was made during a working meeting held on Wednesday at the Ministry of Tourism, under the supervision of Minister Sofiane Tkaya. The meeting allowed for the establishment of a calendar for the publication of the competition's specifications. The deadlines for participation and the creation of various marketing materials were also defined.
Participants discussed the organizational aspects of the competition, its objectives, and the technical criteria to be respected. According to a statement from the ministry, this initiative marks the beginning of a series of programs and projects carried out in coordination with several ministries. These actions will concern heritage, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, transportation, environment, sports, and education.
The Minister of Tourism specified that this competition is part of the preparations for the "Tunis, Arab Tourism Capital 2027" program. It aims to highlight the natural, cultural, and architectural riches of the Tunisian destination, as well as its tangible and intangible heritage. The approach adopted will be modern and renewed.
He also emphasized the importance of involving universities, higher education institutions, researchers, educators, and students. The objective is to strengthen the promotion of Tunisia, both nationally and internationally.
