Ministry of Tourism Announces Guidelines for a Smooth Summer Tourist Season

In order to ensure the smooth operation of summer tourist activities and provide all necessary conditions and guarantees to various stakeholders, the Ministry of Tourism informs, according to a statement, the following:

Respect for Tourists' Rights and Freedoms

Hotel managers and travel agency operators are prohibited from using insignia or images to intervene in tourists' attire or impose any other restrictions or infringements on clients' rights, in accordance with the principle of liberty guaranteed by the Constitution, and in order to preserve good morals, public order, and the country's traditions.

Compliance with Technical Standards

The Ministry also reminds stakeholders of the need to comply with existing technical standards regarding swimwear, in order to ensure public health and safety.

Prohibition of Conditional Sales

In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, conditional sales are strictly prohibited, whether by imposing a minimum reservation and stay period in tourist accommodation establishments, or by applying abusive conditions on developed beaches and in tourist restaurants.
